First Responder Families

Life in a first responder family is different.

The demands, unpredictability, and exposure to trauma create stressors that most families never have to navigate. Over time, this can affect communication, connection, and emotional safety at home.

At Grounded Me, I support first responder families in building resilience, strengthening bonds, and healing from both visible and invisible wounds. Together, we work to create stability during adversity and meaningful connection during recovery.

I utilize Brainspotting, an evidence-based trauma therapy shown to reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. This powerful approach helps the nervous system process trauma at its root—allowing for deep, lasting healing rather than short-term coping.

I am also a contributor to Living Blue, a resource dedicated to the mental health and wellness of law enforcement families, available on Amazon. a part of a first responder family is different. There are unique challenges, stressors and fears. I will teach you tools that will help your family bond during adversity and heal through pain.

Research has consistently demonstrated the efficacy of brainspotting in reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression. This innovative technique has the potential to revolutionize the way we address trauma, promoting lasting healing and transformation.
